Board Members

Alan Egert

Alan Egert serves as the House Chair at Beth Moshe Congregation and has served on the Board for the last 10 years. 

The Egert family have been members of Beth Moshe for over 18 years and have celebrated both their daughters’ Bat Mitzvahs and their son’s Bar Mitzvah with the Congregation. 

Alan has strong personal and professional ties with the Temple and local community. He is a very dedicated Board member, Temple member and business owner who always commits himself completely to the job.

Allison Ludicke

President

Allison Ludicke, President of Beth Moshe Congregation is a local business owner and CFO of LandScience Inc, an Environmental Consulting and Engineering firm for over 28 years.

Allison and her family have been members of Beth Moshe for over 10 years. Her children attended the Beth Moshe Early Childhood program, were Bat Mitzvahed at Beth Moshe and were executive members of the first BBYO chapter at Beth Moshe. 

Dr. Alison Grossman

Dr. Alison Grossman and her family have been members of Beth Moshe for over 20 years. Her sons both attended Beth Moshe Preschool and had their Bar Mitzvahs at Beth Moshe. Through the years, Dr. Grossman has participated in the Beth Moshe PTA, Sisterhood, and she helped to start its BBYO chapter.

She is a clinical neuropsychologist and has had a private practice in Bay Harbor Islands for over 20 years. Her community service involvement has been with Beth Moshe, Hadassah, and she served for 7 years as a board member of the PTSA at Mast Academy where she coordinated mental health and pre-college programs for the students.

Daniel Stone

Daniel Stone, a lifelong member of the Beth Moshe community, lives in Miami with his wife Gabriela and their two children, who currently attend Beth Moshe Preschool. Born and raised in Sans Souci, Daniel himself attended Beth Moshe Preschool and Hebrew School, and was Bar Mitzvahed by Rabbi Lang.

He represents the fourth generation of his family’s involvement with the congregation. A lawyer and real estate investor, Daniel holds a law degree from the University of Miami and a master’s in Real Estate Development from USC.

Eden Shmerling

Eden Shmerling is a proud Israeli, devoted mother of two, and active member of the Miami Jewish community. Originally from Israel, she moved to Miami four years ago and has been deeply involved ever since. Her service in the Israeli military instilled in her values of dedication and resilience. Eden is a full-time mom to Eitan (2.5) and baby Ari (5 months), with a strong interest in health, wellness, and cooking.

She enjoys volunteering, giving back, and studying Kabbalah as part of her spiritual path. Eden looks forward to bringing her heart, energy, and community spirit to the school board in support of its mission.

Ellen Lehrer

Secretary

Ellen is a lifelong Floridian who lives in Miami Shores with her husband Andy and daughters Hailey and Sabrina. Hailey attends Beth Moshe preschool, and Sabrina will join in the fall.

Ellen is actively involved with the school and Temple, always ready to help and volunteer. Before embracing motherhood, she built a career in Human Resources, leading people strategy for mid-to-large companies across various industries. She now consults for many of those same organizations

Erica Bowes

Erica has been a frequent visitor to Beth Moshe through her work as a CNA for well over 15 years. During that time unbeknownst to her, she had slowly become enamored with the temple and its community. Its commitment to family, community and the teaching of the Jewish principles and ideals inspired her to become a member in 2019 and now a proud part of the board of directors, a board that is singularly dedicated to the growth and success of Beth Moshe.

Frank Wolland

Frank Wolland is a prominent, long-time North Miami resident and attorney who truly enjoys doing mitzvahs. He has been a member of Temple Beth Moshe for many years and enjoys serving our Beth Moshe community. Additionally, Frank enjoys serving the North Miami community, having held various positions, including Mayor, Councilmember, Clerk, and previously serving on various North Miami Boards.

Jed Frankel

Jed Frankel has served on the Beth Moshe Board of
Directors since 2001. The Frankel family have been members of Beth Moshe since 1998 and celebrated the Bar Mitzvahs of Robert and David with the Congregation. Both Robert and David attended the Bayles Early Childhood Center. Frankel currently serves on the Temple’s legal committee and believes in fostering a rounded Jewish education to build a strong community.  He is a 1990 graduate of Emory University and a 2003 graduate of the University of Florida College of Law.

Along with his wife Hillary, he is also the co-founder of a vegan bakery.

Jeff Hackmeier

Jeff D. Hackmeier is the owner and President of an
independent insurance agency founded in 1978, specializing in employee benefits and life insurance. A dedicated Beth Moshe member since 1994 and board member since 1998, Jeff’s connection to the temple runs deep, his three children attended its preschool and camps, and Rabbi Lang has officiated many of his family’s life events.

Jeff remains committed to supporting Beth Moshe’s future for the next generations

Marcia Bisnett

Marcia moved to Miami in 1984 to teach in the public
school system. She did 26 years at Miami Norland Senior High School and 5 years in middle school for a total of 31 years with the County. She also taught at Miami Dade Community College for 10 years as an adjunct professor at night in the biology department.

She joined Beth Moshe when her granddaughter Sarah was 3 years old, Nate 5 and Rachel 1.  All three grandchildren went to school at Beth Moshe and were Bar and Bat Mitzvahed. She is a regular attendee at Friday night and Saturday morning services and is very happy here.

Michael Blasberg

Michael has been a long-time member and board member of Beth Moshe Congregation. 

His children, Hillary and Josh were Bat and Bar Mitzvahed at Beth Moshe. His wife Margie Blasberg attended Rabbi Lang’s Bar Mitzvah.

Michael is the Chair of our funeral division as well as the Area Operations Director of Levitt Weinstein.

Michael Stahl

Chairman

Michael Stahl is the Chairman of the Board at Beth Moshe Congregation and has served on the Board of Directors since 1999. Michael has been a member of Beth Moshe since 1998 and serves as the Congregation’s Gabbai. Michael oversees all committees as Chairman and is committed to Beth Moshe’s continued bright future.

Pablo Barki

Pablo Barki Cantor and Member of the Board of Directors of Beth Moshe Congregation is a local business owner and CEO of Rofer Construction Inc, a general contractor firm that has been servicing South Florida commercial and residential clientele for over 20 years. Pablo and his family have been members of Beth Moshe for over 14 years. His children attended the Beth Moshe Early Childhood program, were Bat Mitzvahed and volunteered at summer camps at Beth Moshe. Pablo is dedicated to Jewish traditions and cantorial services and is very grateful to be an active member of the Beth Moshe community.

Robert Yaffe

Vice President

Robert Yaffe and his family, residents of Bay Harbor Islands, have been members of Beth Moshe Congregation for many years and he has served on the Board of Directors for several years. Currently, he is the Chair of the By-Laws and Legal Committee and looks forward to continuing to serve the Congregation. Robert is an attorney, Board Certified in Condominium and Planned Development Law, with an office in Bay Harbor Islands, where he serves as a member of the Bay Harbor Islands Town Council. He is a graduate of Vassar College and the University of Miami School of Law.

Samantha Barone

Treasurer

Samantha R. Barone (nee Jacobi) is the Treasurer of the Beth Moshe Board of Directors and has served since 2024. Samantha R. Barone has been a member of Beth Moshe since birth and has celebrated multiple milestones including Bat Mitzvah, brother’s Bar Mitzvah, birth of children, baby namings and multiple Brit Milot.  Samantha R. Barone serves on the Bylaws/Legal Committee and the Religious/Services/Holidays Committee and is the Lead of the Finance/Budget Committee. Samantha R. Barone has 4 children, 3 of whom are presently attending Hebrew School at Beth Moshe.  Samantha R. Barone (Samantha R. Jacobi-Barone, Esq.) is a practicing attorney at Benjamin R. Jacobi P.A.
